About this event
Join Spokane Audubon Program Director Shenandoah Marr for a slow-paced, beginner friendly bird walk around upper Lincoln Park. We’ll look for year round resident birds including chickadees, nuthatches, woodpeckers, and raptors. The pond in the middle of the park often has ducks.
Walk description: Mostly flat, some of the path is paved. We’ll cover 1/2 - 1 mile total. The overlook offers excellent views of the city.
Parking: free but limited at upper park. If parking lot is full more parking is available at the lower park or in residential areas (~ 1/4 mile of walking is required to reach upper Lincoln park from these areas)
Permits: none
Public transit: serviced by STA route 45
Restroom access: none
Registration: none
