Spokane will develop nearly 2 miles of protected path along Sunset Highway this year between Spotted Road and Royal Street to improve local safety.
The project—adding a 10- to 12-ft trail and intersection upgrades with a flashing pedestrian beacon—will start this spring under budget with federal and state funds.
