  • A house fire occurred in the Spokane Valley, with local fire crews responding and advising residents to avoid the area.  KHQ

CRIME NEWS

  • In Spokane Valley, a man was arrested for violating a protection order and resisting arrest after a nearly four-hour standoff with deputies, with a child found unharmed.  KXLY
  • A Spokane man received an eight-year prison sentence for robbing three banks over a four-month span, with his identity confirmed through DNA and security footage.  The Spokesman-Review
  • Gibson Riklon was arrested for firing shots at a bartender after being told to leave Rick's Ringside Pub due to carrying a firearm, with no injuries reported.  The Spokesman-Review
  • Spokane Police disclosed Officer Darren Kelbish as the one who shot an armed man with an outstanding warrant during a confrontation on February 9.  KXLY
