Good morning, Spokane. Here's your local news at a glance for Tuesday, the 17th of February.

Current students attend classes at old Jefferson Elementary, and the new facility will welcome students in fall 2027. KXLY
GOVERNMENT NEWS

SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Eastern Washington secured an 84-66 win over Weber State on Saturday at Reese Court. Head coach Dan Monson praised freshman guard Cole Scherer (noting three deflections and a breakaway layup) as improved defense spurred team confidence ahead of upcoming matchups against Sacramento State on Thursday and Portland State on Saturday.
