- ➤ The Spokane Independent Investigative Response Team finished its investigation into a police shooting in which four deputies fatally shot suspect Richard Rogissart (55) after reports he swung an axe at them on Jan. 30, and the case now goes to review by the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office. - ➤ Airway Heights police arrested a father after a 911 call reporting loud noises led to the discovery of a 5-year-old boy with serious injuries in an apartment—child protective services now have custody as detectives investigate. KHQ
