- ➤ On March 14th, Mayor Brown and Council President Wilkerson proposed using nearly $1.5 million from opioid settlement funds to expand Spokane's behavioral health services. The plan will invest $350,000 to increase treatment hours at the Spokane Regional Health District's clinic—$500,000 to add new sobering beds at STARS and funds to hire staff and launch culturally specific treatment programs with Spokane County matching the city's investment. - ➤ NASA and SpaceX launched Crew-10 on Friday at 4:03 p.m. Pacific after fixing a ground system hydraulics issue that had delayed the mission. The team, including Spokane astronaut Anne McClain + Japanese astronaut Takuya Onishi, Russian cosmonaut Kirill Peskov and NASA astronaut Nichole Ayers, is scheduled to reach the International Space Station around 8:30 a.m. Pacific on Saturday.
