The new effort aims to increase local collaboration + boost neighborhood development.

Pig Out in the Park, a community staple since 1979, will not return in 2026 because rising costs forced its retirement, according to organizer Bill Burke (who noted the event raised roughly $565 million and attracted nearly 4 million attendees).
