- ➤ Spokane County deputies executed a search warrant at 6:45 a.m. Thursday on a home in the 600 block of South Farr Road as part of a property crime investigation—several suspects including Shaun Bower and Jasmine Highley, who reportedly broke into a storage unit and stole over $4,000 worth of property, were arrested while five others were taken in on unrelated warrants. - ➤ A new program to support victims of violent crimes in West Plains will launch within the next month after Airway Heights Police Department received a grant from the Washington Attorney General's Office last year and hired two victim advocates—with help from Cheney Police and Eastern Washington University Police—and officials say survivors of domestic violence will soon get general support, financial aid and legal advocacy.
