- ➤ Phil Kowzan, an 88-year-old Spokane bugler, played Taps for the final time this March at the Washington State Veterans Cemetery after 25 years of providing live music at servicemember burials — marking the end of a cherished local tradition. KHQ
- ➤ A local organization will offer free transit training sessions to help Spokane families learn how to use public buses as gas prices rise. The program will run throughout April and provides free bus passes plus transit app support. KXLY
