- ➤ Spokane County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a fatal shooting in Mead that occurred early Monday when 47-year-old Cheyanne R. Humphrey — a convicted felon — and a female companion confronted two men they believed were burglarizing a home near Grace Street and North Sheridan Street; after one suspect fled and the other struck Humphrey with a rock, he fired a pistol shot that killed the remaining suspect and was arrested for Unlawful Possession of a Firearm. - ➤ Spokane Police arrested Christopher S. Marsh on Monday afternoon for nearly 30 counts of child sex abuse material after a domestic violence call in February led to a search of his phone—thousands of disturbing images and videos were uncovered. KXLY
