- ➤ Avista reported that over 1,500 customers lost power in Spokane late Friday — the largest outage south of Minnehaha Park affecting about 1,242 customers — with crews scheduled to restore service by 1:15 a.m. on Saturday. KHQ
- ➤ Over 3,800 Avista customers lost power in east Spokane Friday night as crews started assessing the outage, which affected 3,845 customers and was under investigation. KXLY
- ➤ On Friday, April 10, Mayor Lisa Brown revived the annual volunteer recognition by celebrating Habitat for Humanity volunteers constructing a Cleveland Avenue home — the event partnered with AmeriCorps and the Northeast Washington Education Service District and received partial funding from the city's Heart fund for affordable housing.
