CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ The Ridpath Hotel was gutted by a fire on Feb. 28, 1950 with all 200 guests escaping unharmed despite a million-dollar loss and damage to adjacent buildings; in 1951 the hotel was rebuilt as a 12-story tower and now offers renovated micro apartments leased at affordable rates.
