Maria Cantwell said there is a strong need for justice for Missing and Murdered Indigenous People ahead of the National Day of Awareness on May 5 — she backed Savanna’s Act, DOJ outreach, and $6.9 million in funds — while Eastern Washington University will hold a walk and rally from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. and Legends Casino will host a symposium from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. KHQ
