- ➤ Bloomsday organizers reported more than 43,000 participants registered for the Spokane 12K race (50th anniversary), up from 35,000 last year. Volunteers supported runners along the course and at the finish area. KHQ

- ➤ At Monday night's candlelight ceremony outside the Public Safety Building, Trooper Tara-Marysa Guting and Sgt. Ken Salas were added to Spokane’s Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. - ➤ The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture earned unconditional reaccreditation from the American Alliance of Museums after an (18-month) review, joining an elite group of 1,100 museums nationwide.
