- ➤ Bob Finn, a longtime figure in Gonzaga’s alumni relations, has built a legacy over 20 years by supporting scholarship programs and hosting community events—he will retire this summer while leaving a deep mark on generations of Zags. - ➤ Gov. Bob Ferguson warned at Harborview Medical Center that proposed Medicaid cuts could remove coverage for 200,000 of the state's nearly 2 million enrollees and force hospitals to limit services if the changes take effect—healthcare leaders added that these cuts may lead to more crowded emergency rooms and hinder care in rural areas. - ➤ Spokane County Parks, Recreation and Golf completed renovations at Liberty Lake Regional Park during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by County Commissioners and community members, unveiling new picnic shelters, restrooms, outdoor showers, a dock with a fishing section, an accessible kayak launch, safety upgrades, and a paved drop-off with beach-accessible ADA parking.
