- ➤ Gonzaga University’s Foley Library and the Bing Crosby Advocates of Spokane are partnering to host a free summer series called Sundays at the Crosby House that explores Bing Crosby’s early life in Spokane; sessions start on June 8 at 3:30 p.m. on Sundays at the Crosby House Museum on the Gonzaga campus—each event will be limited to 30 attendees. - ➤ Spokane Public Schools hosted an experiential learning field trip at Manito Park this week where 1,400 elementary students from seven schools engaged in science activities at six stations—part of the district's new EngageIRL program promoting hands-on learning. The Spokesman-Review

- ➤ Gonzaga biology professor Jens Hegg was featured in Scholastic Fantastic for his work using mussel shells to track decades of climate change in Northwest waterways. He received a grant from the M.J.
