- ➤ A woman was struck by a silver sedan in a hit-and-run at the intersection of North Argonne Road and East Knox Avenue at 10 p.m. on Saturday in Spokane Valley — police later arrested 20-year-old Haleigh Weinkauf, who admitted to hitting the victim while under the influence of alcohol and cannabis. - ➤ On June 5, a man hit a woman with his SUV during an argument near West Boone Avenue and Dover Road then fled, and deputies later arrested him and charged him with domestic violence assault+hit and run+driving with a suspended license. KXLY
