- ➤ Firefighters are battling a 2-acre brush fire with multiple starts near Cheney Spokane Road and South Marshall Road between Marshall Road and Fish Lake Trail near Spokane Cheney Memorial Gardens — the fire is considered suspicious and is under investigation by the Spokane Fire Department, Spokane County Fire District 3 and the Department of Natural Resources.
