- ➤ Spokane's Riverfront Park hosted its first-ever Kids' Day today — children age 12 and under enjoyed free rides on SkyRide, Skate Ribbon and Looff Carrousel. Spokane City Council organized the event and officials are now discussing making it an annual tradition. KHQ
- ➤ Spokane County firefighter Paul Leforgee retired after 29 years of service. Spokane County Fire District 8 shared a heartfelt video on Facebook—honoring his legacy of saving lives and mentoring fellow firefighters. KHQ

- ➤ A 38-year-old woman failed to stop at a sign near I-90 and Salnave Road about four miles south of Medical Lake on June 20, crashing into a westbound car driven by a 91-year-old man whose car hit a light pole, and both were taken to the hospital while charges are pending (drugs and alcohol were involved).
