ACCIDENTS NEWS

  • A water main break flooded a Spokane neighborhood today and local crews are working to repair the damage+officials advise residents to avoid the area until the fix is complete.  KXLY
  • A crash at 49th Avenue and Regal Street on South Hill around 5:30 a.m. sent three people to hospital when an adult woman was critically injured and two juveniles were hurt, and police later took the fleeing juvenile driver into custody—suspecting intoxication—while a tow truck works to clear the car so the intersection from 49th to 46th on Regal can reopen.  KHQ

CULTURE NEWS

  • Spokane Civic Theatre will present a youth production of The Wind in the Willows starting Friday and running through July 27 as a Civic Education Production that offers workshops in music and dance—helping young actors build live theater skills. Director Jake Schaefer said the show emphasizes themes of friendship—bringing this classic story to life on stage.  The Spokesman-Review
