- ➤ Firefighters were called Tuesday morning to a slash pile of weeds on East 32nd near South Chapman Road in Greenacres — they contained the fire quickly, preventing it from moving uphill after burning about three-quarters of an acre and a tree. KXLY

- ➤ Inland Power announced it will invest $410 million over the next decade to bury 500 miles of overhead power lines underground to lower wildfire risk and improve service for nearly 50,000 Spokane customers. - ➤ Spokane City Council appointed Shelby Lambdin as the new council member for District 2, Position 1 on July 29th, 2025 at 8:37 a.m., replacing Lili Navarrete who resigned on June 30th.
