- ➤ Spokane International Airport announced that Alaska Airlines will start daily nonstop flights to Orange County on January 7—Spokane flights leave at 4:30 p.m. and arrive at 7:16 p.m. while return flights from John Wayne Airport depart at 11:15 a.m. and land at 2:15 p.m.—to meet growing travel demand. - ➤ Spokane Police Department reported a decrease in property crime. The department will continue to track the trend—residents are encouraged to report any suspicious activity. KXLY
- ➤ David Nieman, 35, fled custody and led Spokane police on a high-speed chase on July 27 and appeared in court yesterday—he is now held on a $10,000 bond with arraignment set for August 12. KHQ
