HEALTH NEWS

  • Patients and visitors to Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center must follow a detour via 8th Avenue near the Center for Faith and Healing when the hospital's main drive closes today—part of a construction project to boost campus safety and accessibility.  KXLY

SPORTS NEWS

  • On Saturday, WSU lost to North Texas 59—10 as quarterback Jaxon Potter threw three interceptions in his first road start, leading coach Jimmy Rogers to pull him for the second half. Coach Rogers said he would review film to help Potter learn from the mistakes and improve the team’s play.  The Spokesman-Review
  • Rivalry week has begun in the Pacific Northwest as the Apple Cup in Pullman and the Civil War in Eugene come close, plus Washington State and Oregon State will face tough Big Ten rivals Saturday while Texas State lost at Arizona State last week.
