- ➤ Officials at Mount Spokane said progress is being made on the 20-year plan to upgrade trails and facilities—final details will be announced as each phase begins. KXLY
- ➤ Plans for this year's annual Christmas Bureau at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center are underway as online applications for adults with no children to receive a $30 grocery store voucher are now being accepted — the deadline is Nov. 3 and late applicants may join when the Bureau opens in mid-December.
