- ➤ On Tuesday morning, a neighbor’s ponderosa pine fell onto a property on south hill, knocking out power and causing a damaged fence and siding that echoed incidents in 2015 and 2021. KXLY

- ➤ North Spokane resident Audra Shope had her house damaged when a large pine fell during a storm earlier Wednesday — the tree took out sections of her newly installed fence and left a big hole in her yard, while Spokane Fire responded and Avista is set to remove the debris. The Spokesman-Review
- ➤ Fallen trees entangled in power lines blocked roads in Spokane Wednesday morning, including South Bernard Street near 22nd, 23rd and 25th Avenue and South Cowley Street near 8th, due to extreme winds that also caused power outages and school closures. KHQ

- ➤ Ryan Grulich earned his Gonzaga master’s degree in communication in May after a challenging five-year journey disrupted by COVID — a period that deepened his personal growth. - ➤ Public records show that Spokane’s top commercial water users now draw about 760 million gallons annually, nearly half the 1.56 billion they used in 2006–2007.
