Furies - An SPL workshop production

About this event

Five years after their brother's death, three sisters unexpectedly find themselves face-to-face with the woman responsible. There’s just one problem... what exactly are they going to do with her?

Spokane Playwrights Laboratory wraps up its 2026 season with Furies, an original script by Joshua H. Cohen. This workshop production invites audiences to experience an exciting new-work in development and take part in the conversation that helps shape its future.

Funny, smart, and sharply provocative, Furies explores what happens when grief, anger, and a desire for retribution collide. As the sisters wrestle with what they believe their brother deserves, they’re forced to confront a much harder question: what is line between justice and revenge?

Each performance will be followed by a talkback with the playwright, director, and cast.
