About this event
What does it take to support healthier futures for tribal communities across Washington? Join us for a special National Rural Health Day seminar featuring pharmacists who serve tribal communities and bring firsthand experience in addressing health needs, expanding access to care, and strengthening community health.
Hear from pharmacists working in tribal communities across Washington as they share insights from their work in the Indian Health Service, US Public Health Service and Tribal Health Systems. They will discuss opportunities to improve health outcomes with the exploration of how pharmacy education and the profession can better support and welcome students from tribal communities.
The conversation will be led by Megan Undeberg, PharmD, BCACP and CPPS Assistant Dean of Rural Health, and will include an interactive Q&A with students and community members. Come learn, ask questions, and be part of a conversation about building a stronger, more inclusive future for health care in Washington. All students and community members are welcome!
