Aerial Silks 1

About this event

Aerial 1 will dive deeper in to skills learned in the Intro to Aerial Silks class as well as expand with new skills and build endurance. Students can expect to learn more from foot locks, poses, hip locks, inversion and by the end of class, compose a series of moves. This class is a prerequisite to Aerial Silks 2. Unless otherwise noted, all Coil classes have a minimum age of 14. WHAT TO WEAR? Long leggings or tights with shorts are recommended on aerial silks. Ensure that your belly and armpits are covered for comfort and ease; the fabric will be pressed against these areas in some postures where the skin is sensitive. Long hair should be tied back, fingernails must be of a reasonable trimmed length, and absolutely no jewelry should be worn during class; this is both for your safety and to prevent tears in our aerial silks. Bring a water bottle and a towel for sweat if necessary.
