About this event

A Free, Inclusive Space for Adults to Connect, Share Interests, and Build Friendships

Organizer: Adam Fogal — Email: adamjamesfogal24@gmail.com (Please put “Library Club Hangout” in the subject line if you are interested, or to let me know if you can’t make it).

Details: Open to the public! Welcoming adults with and without disabilities (especially ages 25–35, and focusing on mild/minimal-assistance needs). Meets once a month (plus extra meetups if a member reserves an available library room, subject to room availability).

• First Official Club Hangout: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the North Spokane Library .

Why We Started

Spokane lacks age-appropriate social programs for adults ages 25–35 (skewing toward seniors instead). To combat isolation and mental health struggles, we provide:

• True Peer Connection: Bringing together adults with and without disabilities as equal peers.

• Cell Phone Free Zone: Phones stay put away during meetings for 100% face-to-face engagement.

• Community Base: Free library meeting rooms to build trust and plan outings around Spokane.

Club Rules & Vibe

• 100% Free: No costs, fees, or commercial pressure to participate.

• Respectful & Clean: Snacks/drinks welcome if we keep our space tidy.

• Safety First: Talk directly to me or library staff if you ever have any concerns.

What We Talk About & Explore (Our menu only expands, never shrinks!)

• Las Vegas & Reno: Travel tips, casino hotels, buffets, slot games (Dancing Drums, Ruby Fire), and much more!

• Disney & Theme Parks: Disneyland, Universal Studios, Silverwood, cruises, and much more!

• Seattle & Sports: Seattle Mariners , Seattle Seahawks , landmarks, and much more!

• Local Spokane Fun: Spokane Indians , Spokane Chiefs , Gonzaga basketball , trivia nights, dining, and much more!

Ready to hang out and connect offline? If you are interested, please send me an email with “Library Club Hangout” in the subject line to let me know you saw this!
