About this event

November's Featured Artist is ESU associate professor of art John Decker presenting his exhibit "Fist" at Mulready's Pub, the Presenting Venue.

Decker's body of work included in the "Fish" exhibition combines his obsession with fishing, graphic design and art. All work involves some form of printmaking, including relief, screen or wood inlay (printed on a laser engraver/printer). Most of the images were designed on a computer with the goal of simplifying the subject into basic geometric forms, then experimenting with patterns and textures.

The Art Walk will feature many additional artists and participating venues. For a complete list of artists, venues, and specials for the evening, visit Emporia First Friday’s website at

www.emporiafirstfriday.com

Art Walkers who have their Passports stamped at the Presenting Venue plus at least seven additional artists and venues, and turn them in by 8 pm, will be entered in the Passport Prize drawing. Those who visit all artists and venues will have the additional opportunity to win $50

in Main Street Gift Certificates. Drawings take place at Mulready’s Pub at 8:15 p.m. following the Art Walk.

Listed by Emporia State University (Localist), gathered by the Spokane events calendar.
