A local man was sentenced to 20 years in prison for drug trafficking after a Spokane court found he played a key role in an organized drug ring.

Field to Feast, a film project with Spokane roots, launched its pilot episode on Thursday online featuring chef Chad White hunting on Jed Conklin’s family farm in Kentucky—he processed part of the harvest into a meal.

Conklin hopes the 20 minute film will start a series that teaches chefs how to harvest and prepare their own food.
