If you work for Alaska Airlines at Spokane International Airport, or know someone who does, here's what we know. The airline is laying off 121 employees in Renton, Seattle and Spokane, according to a letter to Washington's Employment Security Department. None of the reports says how many of those jobs are in Spokane.

The airline said the cuts are expected to be permanent, but entire facilities are not closing.

KREM reports the letter lists jobs from senior and director positions to safety managers. KHQ's list also includes call center specialists, fuel operations managers and software engineers. KOMO says the notice fulfills the Washington WARN Act.

  • Notice dated: Oct. 30
  • First separations: on or about Dec. 31
  • Bumping rights: don't apply to affected workers
  • Some employees may return to a former union position
  • Questions: Christin Leise, people operations
